Play Store Config, 60 of 100 Days of Code

  • March 11, 2020March 11, 2020
  • by Richard Clarke

The app publishing process is pretty straight forward. Well, for the Google Play Store anyway.

You can find a video of this at the bottom of the page.

This week I purchased and configured a Google Console Account. I also drafted the description for the Travel application on the Google Play Store along with the app icon.

My biggest takeaway thus far is the importance of planning. Last year, when I started the Salesman’s Travel codingkata, I created a description using the requirements for the challenge. The same one I’ll use for the app on the Play Store, saving time on the publishing process.

I used Microsoft Paint to resize the app logo to 512px by 512px.

I’ll post more updates as the app is published.
