Master Plan! 100 Days of Code, 1 of 100

  • by Richard Clarke

I’m restarting the #100DaysOfCode challenge. Only this time, I’m gonna do it right.

Last time I attempted this challenge I was too anxious to start coding. However, Software Development features a lot of planning. Before building a project, I need to plan my steps carefully ahead of time.

For now, I’m learning SQL and flowing though the Relational Databases course on Udacity. I’m halfway through the course and I’m at the part where I need to install a virtual machine. This will allow me to perform queries locally instead of using the emulator on the course website. I’m looking through the directions, taking notes, making sure I have a good understanding ahead of time.

If there are bumps on the road, I’ll take time and deal with them one by one. For now, I’m writing down the steps required and working through it. It’s gonna be worth it when I have everything installed and ready to go. Can’t wait!
