Success! 100 Days of Code, 3 of 100

  • by Richard Clarke

It’s official. I have finally configured Android Studio!

As I suspected, the “NotBefore” error stemmed from the incorrect date configuration on my PC. I changed the CMOS battery on the motherboard, booted up Windows 7, and sure enough…

Now that it’s ready, it’s TIME TO…..make something simple. I’m looking to create a title screen for my text adventure. Nothing fancy for now, I just want to get the hang of things. I’ll move on to complex projects later on, but I’m keeping it simple at the moment.

Learning a new technology is fun! Best way to keep it that way is with surmountable challenges. Often times I jump into a new project with a lot of enthusiasm for making something big and flashy. Then I end up losing steam after the first signs of a struggle.

With simple/concise objectives, I can learn without putting pressure on myself and still have a good time.
