Time to return to Android, 100 Days of code…

In a time when people douse themselves in ice water and eat cinnamon by the handful, we coders feel left out.

Enter, 100 days of code.

For the next 100 days, I’m embarking on a coding journey. My project of choice is an interactive fiction I’ve been working on in Java.

Today I managed to install Android Studio on my living room PC. I’ve set up port forwarding so I can work while I’m away from home.

I had a tough time getting into Android Dev since I couldn’t get the hang of dragging widgets and using a gui to create an activity.

However, when making an activity, a Java file is also created…this means I can build the entire interface using Java!

I’m really looking forward to this app coming into fruition. One day at a time.

To 100 and beyond!
